About Willderness Yard
For the past 10 years, William Francis has been harvesting and making medicine with Chaga; All gathered mindfully and locally in the Catskill Mountains. William Francis was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Rockaway Beach, Queens. Infatuated with the power and beauty of our natural world, he began studying medicinal plants. It did not take long for this passion to inspire and enable him to travel all over the world, working with herbalists and healers. After being diagnosed with Lymes disease, William Francis was set on a path deeper into his studies to find remedy for its suffering. This path led him to the mushroom kingdom where he found the diamond of the forest.. Chaga! William Francis is truly grateful for this medicine and loves being able to share its goodness with those willing to learn.
